Business Overview

AP&J Fingerprinting & Identity Services provides mobile identity and document support services throughout Stafford County, Virginia and surrounding areas. Services include ink fingerprinting (FD-258), mobile notary, remote online notarization (RON), apostille facilitation (state and federal), I-9 Authorized Representative services, background screening coordination, and related identity verification services.

Services Role

AP&J Fingerprinting & Identity Services is a document facilitation and identity services provider. We are not a government agency, law firm, or legal advisor. 

We assist clients with document preparation, identity verification, and submission coordination to appropriate authorities, including state Secretaries of State and the U.S. Department of State.

We do not issue apostilles, authentications, or government certifications.

No Legal Advise

We do not provide legal, immigration, or regulatory advice. Clients are responsible for confirming all requirements with the requesting agency, employer, foreign government, embassy, consulate, or legal professional.

Scope of Services

Our services include, but are not limited to:


- FD-258 ink fingerprinting
- Mobile notary services
- Remote online notarization (RON)
- Apostille and authentication facilitation (all 50 states and federal documents)
- I-9 Section 2 identity verification
- Background screening coordination

Apostille & Processing Disclaimer

Processing times are determined solely by issuing authorities. We do not guarantee processing times, outcomes, or document acceptance.

We assist with:
- All 50 U.S. states through courier partners
- Federal apostille processing through the U.S. Department of State

We are not responsible for delays, rejections, or additional requirements imposed by any authority.

Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for:


- Providing accurate, complete, and valid documents
- Understanding requirements of their requesting agency
- Ensuring documents are properly prepared prior to submission

We are not responsible for rejected documents due to client error.

Payment Terms

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve all appointments.

Remaining service fees must be paid prior to document submission or at the time of service.

​

Government filing fees, shipping, courier services, and third-party costs are not included.

​

All payments are non-refundable once services have begun.

Mobile Service & Travel

Services may be performed at client-selected locations. Travel fees may apply and are non-refundable once travel has commenced.

Fingerprinting Limitations

Identity verification prints are rolled with reasonable care. We do not guarantee agency acceptance. Rejections based on natural print quality or agency changes are out of our control.

Background Screening

Screening is coordinated through third-party FCRA-compliant agencies. Employers are responsible for disclosures, authorizations, and hiring decisions based on these reports.

Shipping & Courier Disclaimer

We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once documents are transferred to shipping carriers or courier partners.

Appointment Policy

Clients must be present with valid identification.

Missed appointments and late cancellations may result in forfeiture of deposit.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service for incomplete, suspicious, or fraudulent documentation.

Limitation of Liability

AP&J Fingerprinting & Identity Services shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service use.
